Do you need any information? The following are our guests’ most frequently asked questions and some information you should know when you book a stay at the Hotel Terme Helvetia.

Reservation

Is it possible to book online?

Of course, booking from our website is easy and convenient. Just enter the dates of your stay in the fields provided on the homepage, click on “book” and you will be directed to our online booking form which also provides you with the latest updated prices.

Alternatively, you can:

  • send us a request for a quote by entering the dates of your stay in the homepage fields, click on “request” and send it.
  • Send us an email to info@termehelvetia.it including information on the period in which you would like to come.
  • Dial +39 049 866 98 11 and talk with our receptionists.
Is it possible to pay directly at the hotel?

If you choose the Web rate or one of our packages at the time of your booking, we will require a credit card as a guarantee; that guarantees your booking and protects us in case you do not show up on the day of arriva

We won’t charge anything and the payment of the entire amount of the booking will take place once you get to the hotel.

What are the payment and cancellation terms?

The payment and cancellation conditions depend on the selected rate. At the Hotel Terme Helvetia, we offer 2 different types of rates:

1)BeSafe Rate Plus: it offers an advantageous price and it includes the cancellation insurance. In this case, the payment of the entire amount of the stay is required at the time of your booking by credit card. It guarantees cancellation for any documentable reason and offers a refund of up to 100% of the prepaid amount in accordance with the regulations of the Insurance Policy applied at the time of booking. 2)Tariffa web: it costs a little more, does not include insurance, but allows you to cancel the reservation under certain conditions

  • without any penalty up to 7 days from the check-in date
  • 30% penalty of the due amount from 7 to 3 days from the check-in date
  • 100% penalty of the due amount if the cancellation occurs 2 days before check-in.

The Web rate shall be guaranteed by a credit card and the payment of the entire amount of the reservation directly at the hotel. Alternatively, you can pay in 3 convenient interest-free instalments by using our new SCALAPAY payment method.

When booking your stay, you can also select half board or full board, saving on the price of the meals. You can also decide whether to have lunch or dinner once you arrive at the hotel, so you can book a room with breakfast included and add lunch and/or dinner later directly at the hotel.

Which credit cards do you accept at the hotel?

We accept all major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Cartasì, Diners Club International and American Express.

Check-in and check-out

What are the check-in and check-out times?

On the day of arrival, the room will be available from 2:00 p.m., while the checkout time is 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Is it possible to enter the spa and swimming-pools after check-out?

Yes, our guests can stay at the hotel after check-out and use the pools and spa from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on the day of their departure, paying a small supplement.

On Saturday and Sunday, the supplement is €60 per double room while, on weekdays, the supplement is €50 per double room.

Spa and Wellness

What is the opening and closing time of the spa and pools?

The pools are open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., while the SPA centre is open from Sunday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

What is the minimum age to enter the Spa centre and the pools?

The minimum age to enter the Spa Centre is 16. The admission to the pools is free for everyone.

Is it mandatory to use a cap in the pool?

Yes, the use of the cap in the pools is mandatory for everyone.

Does the hotel provide for Aquagym lessons?

Yes, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the pool on the first floor, you can attend free Aquagym lessons held by our Staff.

Do you accept day guests?

Yes, we do. The day guests can use the Spa Centre and the pools. We offer two types of Spa Day:

Spa Day - Full day

Includes the admission to the thermal pools and wellness centre from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m

From Monday to Thursday: €35.00 per person

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: €45.00 per person

From Monday to Thursday: €25.00 per person

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: €35.00 per person

Are the thermal treatments, such as thermal mud applications, inhalations and thermal baths, covered by the Local Health Unit?

Yes, we have special agreements with the National Health Service.

Therefore, by presenting your GP’s prescription, you can benefit from a cycle of thermal therapies once a year (i.e. 12 mud application treatments and therapeutic baths, 12 therapeutic baths or 12 inhalations + 12 aerosols) by paying only the state tax.

Do I need to make an appointment to enter the spa centre and the pools?

There are no restrictions for being admitted to the pools and the Spa Centre and the price is included in the stay.

 

Reservations are required for massages, thermal mud applications or other treatments.

How can I book thermal and beauty treatments or massages?

We recommend that you book thermal treatments and therapies when you reserve your room so you will have a greater selection of times and services. Our services

What services are included in the price of the stay?

The stay includes:

  • Admission to thermal water indoor-outdoor pools equipped with water jets for neck and shoulders, water jets for the body and Kneipp path. They are open every day until 11:00 p.m.
  • Admission to the large garden surrounding the outdoor pool and use of sun loungers free of charge.
  • Admission to the wellness area with Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and comfortable loungers - open every day until 8:00 p.m.
  • Spa kit with bathrobe and pool towel.
Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

The Hotel Terme Helvetia has a restaurant, where you can enjoy a daily menu with a buffet of appetizers, a selection of first and second courses, as well as side dishes, desserts or fruit.

In addition to dishes from the Veneto region that hosts us, the menu alternates meat and fish dishes that recall the cuisine of the Sicily region where our family comes from.

Upon request and by informing us before your arrival, we can arrange vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes.

Every week, we provide our guests with a program of gastronomic events and themed evenings.

The hotel also has the Bistrot, open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a selection of first and second courses, salads, desserts, sandwiches, snacks, fruit salad and ice cream; no formal dress is required for entering the bar, you can just be wearing your bathrobe.

RESTAURANT HOURS: Breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 | Lunch from 12:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. | Dinner from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Does the hotel have a car park?

We have a covered and uncovered car parking and it is free of charge.

Is it possible to charge an electric car at the hotel?

Yes, it is. The Hotel Terme Helvetia is equipped with a new 11kW column for electric cars.

Is there Wi-Fi internet service?

Of course, our guests can use the free Wi-Fi service in all areas of the hotel.

Do you have equipped meeting rooms?

Yes, for meetings, reunions or corporate events, we provide rooms equipped with all the facilities.

We will also assist you in organizing and managing the event, from the decorative setup to the buffet. Upon request, it is possible to arrange light lunches, coffee breaks or corporate dinners.

Do you provide bicycles?

Yes, we do. We have bicycles that can be used free of charge by requesting them at reception.

Do you accept pets?

Small/medium sized dogs are welcome! We ask for a supplement of € 12 for cleaning and sanitizing the room upon departure.

They are not admitted in the thermal pools, the Spa centre, the wellness centre and the restaurant.

To ensure a relaxing stay for all our guests, we also ask that dogs are always kept on a leash in the common areas and are not left unattended in the room as they might disturb other guests.

Is there a gym in the hotel?

Yes, the hotel has a gym equipped with modern Technogym equipment. The use of the gym is free of charge.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

We have ramps for wheelchair users to access the hotel and rooms with bathrooms equipped for disabled people. The hotel is equipped with lifts but, due to their limited dimensions, some wheelchairs may have difficulties using them.

Is it possible to request the transfer/shuttle service from and to Venice airport?

Upon request, we organize paid transfers to and from Venice airport.

Can I reach the hotel by public transport means?

Yes, you can. The closest train station is Terme Euganee Abano-Montegrotto. From there, you can take a taxi or the bus line M.
